Excellent, man-made bass fishing lake, with adjoining acreage for seasonal hunting, located VA Route 701 off US 15, 7 miles south of Farmville.

@High Bridge Trail State Park

Passing through the center of Farmville, the "rails-to-trails" High Bridge Trail Park is about 30 miles long. It runs through Cumberland, Prince Edward & Nottoway Counties, and the towns of Pamplin City, Prospect, Farmville, Rice and Burkeville.
